Yo La Tengo: iTunes exclusive Live Session EP

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 01 4th, 2007 | View Comments

Matador Records is opening 2007 with an iTunes exclusive Yo La Tengo Live Session EP on January 9. The songs were recorded during radio performances, and include the following tracks:
Yo La Tengo Live Session EP
1-El Es Gay
2-Pass the Hatchet, I Think I'm Goodkind
3-The Weakest Part
4-Luci Baines (Arthur Lee cover)

Seeing that there are no duplication costs with a digital release, and the songs were recorded during live radio performances (no studio time), Matador and band can only benefit. Two weeks after the iTunes release, Yo La Tengo will tour the East Coast with thirteen shows, followed by five gigs in Japan, and six in Australia.

Yo La Tengo – Pass The Hatchet, I Think I'm Goodkind (I am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass)

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
