We Are Scientists: Crap Attack b-sides release

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 11 7th, 2006 | View Comments

We Are ScientistsWe Are Scientists this week released Crap Attack, an album full of b-sides, rarities, and videos. Packaged as a double-disc, the CD contains fifteen songs, with fourteen music videos and footage of the Shephards Bush Empire Show (April 13, 2006) on DVD. First released in Germany, followed by the UK on November 6, Crap Attack will continue to feed the We Are Scientist frenzy in Europe.

This band from Brooklyn has a strong fan-base in Great Britain where indie dance pop is insanely popular. Proving their popularity, We Are Scientists are finishing a nineteen show tour in the UK… a tour where every show was sold out. Sunday kicks off a western Europe tour with Barsuk Record's Mates of State.

After the European tour, We Are Scientists have a four gig tour in the US with Oxford Collapse (Sub Pop) and The Grates. The band plans to hide away in a recording studio to work on their next album after the December 12 concert. This as-of-yet recorded album will be their seventh disc since they formed in 2000, their second release on Virgin Records after releasing their first three independently.

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
