In support of their most excellent, acclaimed, thrashing debut “Out of Africa” on Alternative Tentacles, Bay Area psych-punk noiseniks Triclops! bring their delightfully dangerous live show to the Midwest as well as the Pacific Northwest this month. They will start out heading up the west coast hitting stops on their way to Missoula’s Total Fest sharing the stage with Federation X, Bad Dudes, Akimbo, Saviours, among many others. They will then meet up with Chicago punks, The Arrivals, and cruise through midwest to give the kids a severe aural beating. Distorted vocals, oscillating bass lines, and jittery guitars form a nervous, seasick swath over the plodding drums. Songs unfurl into worlds of their own with byzantine lyrics. Think prime-era Butthole Surfers meets Close To The Edge. Pry open your third eye with this finest morsel of acid punk-prog.
