The Twilight Sad release tour EP

Posted by Flick in Media, News, videos on 11 26th, 2008 | View Comments

The Twilight Sad are releasing a limited edition CD with Fat Cat Records, “to help fund their tour with Mogwai.” Titled The Twilight Sad Killed My Parents And Hit The Road, the disc will be out on CD and digital on December 8. The title of the disc continues the reflection of a homicidal adolescent in rural Scotland drowned in their dark noise-driven sounds.

The eleven track disc is “a collection of covers, instrumentals, previously unreleased material and live tracks recorded at the ABC, Glasgow.” Several songs are covers of Joy Division, The Smiths, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Andy MacFarlane recorded The Wea-ther Is Bad for Semiconductor‘s Brilliant Noise, “a film pieced together from archive NASA footage of the sun’s surface.” (Wikipedia)

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
