The Twilight Sad: Reflection of the Television

Posted by Flick in Media, Mp3 Singles on 05 21st, 2009 | View Comments

The Twilight Sad is preparing for the release of their second full-length album, Forget the Night Ahead, in October. Fat Cat Records wrote, “Judging by the video and what we’ve heard already, this record is, quite distinctly, something to really look forward to.” They began to record the album in January.

Here is the first track from the upcoming Forget the Night Ahead:
The Twilight Sad – Reflection-of-the-Television

Vocalist of The Twilight Sad, James Graham, told The Skinny:
“One thing that I can promise is that the lyrics are very dark, but you might have to look into them a bit to realise. They are mainly based around things that have happened to me over the past two years, revolving mainly around losing people and being none too proud or happy with myself about my antics and situations I’ve found myself in.”

Fly TV have posted two videos of Twilight Sad singing Made To Disappear from the forthcoming album. There’s also an acoustic version of Walking For Two Hours from Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters.

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
