Taxi Taxi! debuts full-length

Posted by Flick in Media, Mp3 Singles, videos on 09 22nd, 2009 | View Comments

Taxi Taxi! The Stockholm twins known as Taxi Taxi! have released their debut full-length, Still Standing at Your Back Door. In 2005 Johanna and Miriam Eriksson Berhan were only 15 when they released a song on Myspace, and grabbed attention worldwide. They released two EPs with Rumraket, the label operated by the Efterklang folk, Taxi Taxi! in 2007, and more recently, Step Out Into The Light in 2009.

“Taxi Taxi! have been in good hands while making the album. Still Standing at Your Back Door is produced by Johan Berthling (member of Tape and co-owner of the magnificent Häpna label) and mixed by Joachim Ekerman (Jenny Wilson, Frida Hyvönen, First Floor Power).”

Taxi Taxi! are backing up the release with a streak of shows in Scandinavia.

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
