Swim Swam Swum: West Coast tour

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 04 4th, 2007 | View Comments

Swim Swam SwumPortland indie rockers Swim Swam Swum have a short tour lined up, taking them on the road for two weeks, plus two Pdx gigs sitting as bookends to the tour. Their high energy post-punk stage presence was described by the Willamette Week as, "at once loud and reserved, rocking and intimate."

In 2006 Swim Swam Swum recorded with Point Juncture, WA's Skyler Norwood and released their self-titled debut on the indie Lola Records. Skyler has gained recognition for producing Talkdemonic and the Plug Award nominated Horse Feathers.

Swim Swam SwumAll four of the songs from their EP are now offered as downloads on MySpace and Purevolume: 3 Pairs of Scissors, Ink and Grass, Is Life, and Without Your French.

Swim Swam Swum is a three-piece that, rumor had it, was having difficulty solidifying the third member. It appears that Randy has joined Clinton and Matt, and the unsigned band is beginning to perform again.

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
