Momentum began early when Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) heard their heated anti-war song I've Got A Gun And I'm Not Afraid To Use It On My Friends, he put it on his Protest Records Compilation Vol. 5.
This summer the band released their five song …All Night EP, inked a distro deal with Burnside Distribution, and Saturna began making rounds amongst the media web, drawing accolades from bloggers. It seems that the more willing a band is about leaking their debut material online, the easier it is to develop the needed hype and interest to launch a new band. Smart.
