Rosie Thomas - These Friends of MineRosie Thomas released These Friends of Mine on December 12. The album is a beautiful collaboration between Rosie Thomas, Sufjan Stevens, and Denison Witmer – a folksy combination that will have wide appeal. The album's ten tracks were recorded in New York, and include eight original songs and covers of R.E.M's The One I Love, and Fleetwood Mac's Songbird. The album is only available online as a digital release on iTunes, Emusic, or Rhapsody, but we're told to expect the CD version in the stores around March of 2007.

Though Rosie Thomas is signed with SubPop, These Friends of Mine was released through Canada's Nettwerk Music Group under Rosie's new label, Sing A Long Songs. Sufjan Stevens, Denison Witmer, and Rosie Thomas have all supported each other's recordings in the past, but this album brings the three together for the first time.

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
