Point Juncture WA: West Coast tour

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 05 9th, 2007 | View Comments

Point Juncture WAPoint Juncture WA is heading out for a short West Coast tour. During the tour they'll try out new songs that they have been recording over the winter. On May 13 Point Juncture WA will perform live in-studio for KCPR (91.3fm) in San Luis Obispo, California.

"We've been busy recording our new album, eating vegan barbecue, and doing our best to enjoy the schizophrenic Portland weather." Victor from Point Juncture WA shared with Puddlegum, "We're working on some rough mixes this week."

The band is recording their album in their home studio, using a Digi002 setup in their basement. When asked about how recording in their home is going, "We get more time to focus on things like weird keyboard tones and unusual drum micings. Drums sound fantastic in our basement and something I'm excited about is switching drum sounds in the middle of the song. Like distant room mics on the verse and close mics on the chorus. We'd never get to do that at the studio before."

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
