A few snippets from around the web concerning M. Ward’s new release:

Ward, performed by M. Ward, Rachel Blumberg, Jim James, Jordan Hudson, Neko Case, Skip Von Kuske, Amanda Lawrence, Mike Coykendall and Mike Mogis.” (www.mwardmusic.com)

“Thursday, August 24′s edition of The Late Show With David Letterman will be brought to you by the letter “M” and the letter “W” – when Merge’s own M. Ward will celebrate the Tuesday, August 22 release of his new album, Post-War with a performance on the venerated late night talk show. Also scheduled to appear on Thursday is former Funky Bunch leader Mark Wahlberg. Set your Digital Recording Devices, Tivos or good old analog VCRs for 11:30pm ET/PT to catch M. Ward on The Late Show with David Letterman on your local CBS affiliate!!!” (mergerecords.com)

“M. Ward’s new album, Post-War, will be in stores on August 29th, but you won’t have to wait that long to check out the video for “Chinese Translation”.*

On Monday, August 14th, 2006, mtvU and mtv.com will be featuring the World Premiere of “Chinese Translation”. This animated video was produced and directed by Eric David Johnson and Joel Trussell.

mtvU will feature the video on-air, once an hour, every hour throughout the day. Meanwhile, mtv.com will be featuring the video all day on their homepage as well as their “INDIE” page.”

The video for Chinese Translation will also be a bonus feature on all commercial copies of Post-War.”(mergerecords.com)

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
