Joanna Newsom and the Ys Street Band EP

Joanna NewsomJoanna Newsom is releasing an EP titled Joanna Newsom and the Ys Street Band on April 24. The album will bring fans one new song, Colleen, lasting 6:41, though Joanna is known for releasing 16 minute songs. Two tracks follow Colleen: a new version of Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie, and a new version of Cosmia. The EP was recorded with Newsom's touring band, hence the name of the album.

She has toured with Will Oldham, Devendra Barnhart, and Vetiver. (Wikipedia)

During the last week of April she will be touring with Alasdair Roberts in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Holland. Following this, on April 29, Joanna is performing at All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Glastonbury, UK.
