Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 02 26th, 2007 | View Comments

Jed and LuciaJed and Lucia are prepping for their next album, following their debut Candles in Daylight . According to their MySpace , "Our friend, Christine Lunde, will be playing cello and singing harmonies with us," adding to Jed's Seattle beats and Lucia's Swedish folk.

The couple recently recorded with Kelli Ali in the UK, "collaborating on some tunes for her next album on One Little Indian." Kelli Ali was the vocalist for Sneaker Pimps before she began releasing solo albums.

Lucia is working on a Swedish album, with plans to travel to Stockholm in April, "to soak in some more inspiration and finish it up in the next couple months."

Jed will be at South by Southwest, "with some music that Jed has worked over this past year and some old stuff as well." Jed has been busy remixing music, and creating beats for his seven side projects. Outside of Jed and Lucia, he has four upcoming releases from his dance and remix projects. His music can be found at Jedsounds.com , which features 32 Mp3s to download. His projects include: Aberrant, Afrodisiac Sound System, Mari-Frikin-ach!, Norsemousness, Coal Miner, Hevinan Chakra and the Hesher Enlightened, and Fwunky Honkey.

Jed's four upcoming albums:
Fwunky Honkey remixes Lawrence Welk classics, and has an upcoming EP called Bringin' da Fwunky. DJ Ladies Please produced the album with Jed.

Hevinan Chakra and the Hesher Enlightened has an upcoming full length called Gonna Fast Till I Puke. Jed describes the sound as, "spiritually grounded strutter metal odes to the correctness of the universe."

Coal Miner is releasing You Call the Sheriff, Not Me, with their, "mournful and reckless songs of the west."

Mari-Frikin-achi! is also releasing a full length, Yo no Hablo, Yo. Jed explains, "all lyrics sung randomly from this book I bought from a guy in the street in Spain who had written it about his travels through North America."

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
