Greater California: album coming in Fall of 2007

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 02 3rd, 2007 | View Comments

Greater California Greater California have posted two song demos on their MySpace for their upcoming album. The demos include All The Colors and Disappearing. Fans of their sixties-esque work will be pleased with the new material. The new album "should be finished in March and released in the fall of 2007."

The band is recording "with Ikey Owens (Mars Volta / Free Moral Agents) and have been in and out of the studio with big smiles since last October [2006]. Chris [Berens] and Greg [Brown], have added a welcomed warmth to the sound, as you will soon hear, and the new material will be serving several different uses."

Greater California from Long Beach, California have released two albums since they formed in 2000. Their first disc, The Little Pacific, debuted on CMJ's Top 200. Though only performing six times in 2006, the band has performed with Calexico, Jesse Sykes, among others over the past seven years.

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
