The Elected: fall tour dates
Blake Sennett's The Elected will be touring this October and November to support Sun, Sun, Sun, which was released earlier this year. Side project for the Rilo Kiley members, The Elected has taken central focus after Rilo Kiley signed to Warner Brothers in May of 2005.
Jenny Lewis, the lead voice in Rilo Kiley, released her first solo album, Rabbit Fur Coat in January `06, while Blake Sennett and Jason Boesel work on The Elected. Pierre D Reeder, bassist for Rilo Kiley, was married this year, adding more reasons for the Rilo Kiley pause.
This past week the Elected's Blake Sennet opened up a website, Greetings in Braille, which hosts live audio and video recordings of The Elected and Rilo Kiley for fans to obsess over. Look for recordings of the upcoming Elected tour to surface on Greetings in Braille.
