Sweden is known for its innovative indie, and readers of Puddlegum know that we have a soft spot for music coming out of Scandinavia. El Perro Del Mar is one of the artists we enjoy in particular, and we’re excited that they have a new album, Love Is Not Pop, coming out on October 20th.
Change of Heart is the first single from their third album, Love Is Not Pop, showing off El Perro Del Mar’s smooth and spacious pop. Their website states, “The upcoming version is complete with added bonus tracks including a Low Motion Disco as well as a Nhessingtons remix.”
Look for Love Is Not Pop to be released in the US via The Control Group. Sarah Assbring of El Perro Del Mar co-produced the album with Rasmus Hägg at Gothenburg duo Studio, and in November they will be touring through North America with Peter Bjorn and John!
