Distant Lights…

Posted by Flick in Puddlegum, videos on 05 19th, 2009 | View Comments

I never imagined that it would take this long before I would resume blogging. Between having a new baby girl, going back to college, along with many other happenings, my free time to blog dwindled.

Due to all of this, I’ve been thinking of ways to resume blogging, but in a way that would require less editing time. Previously, I would find myself spending an hour writing and editing each story. With two children, a full-time job, and full-time studies, I need a new approach.

For the time being, I aim to write brief blog posts with the main focus placed on the media. I’ll write very short blips with an mp3 or embedded video, and when time allows I’ll write more extensively.

On a side note, I mashed up a Loney, Dear video for Distant Lights that I think you’ll enjoy. Emil saw the video and wants to promote it, so we’re working on an HD version.

Thanks! She’s certainly a joy (even if she keeps us awake at night).

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
