Dignan, Buildings Breeding, and Bearded Beauty
Dignan is heading out for a short tour in April to support The Guest EP that they released in January. The six-track was the first album released through Chris Larson's (Buildings Breeding) new record label, Bearded Beauty. Dignan released a split EP with Coffeehouse Celebrity before signing with Bearded Beauty; two songs from their split EP is available at PureVolume. Interest in Dignan is growing, with over 180,000 song plays on MySpace.
The band isn't traveling far from their McCallen, Texas home for this tour. They're playing several shows with Great Northern Guns , and opening for The Ataris on April 12. "In August Buildings Breeding and Dignan set out for a month long west coast tour through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona," Chris Larson shared with Puddlegum.
"Bearded Beauty was started by Christapher Larsen and Melanie Glover of Buildings Breeding. We were kind of sick of waiting for people to do our releases for us. We came across Dignan on myspace and instantly fell in love. The first release was Dignan 'the Guest' e.p. Second we released Buildings Breeding 'Beesting' e.p. which is a collection of outtakes from our self titled release.
As far as plans for the label, we are currently reviewing demos looking for new groups to sign. Also looking for distribution."
