David Bazan touring before heading to studio

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 09 25th, 2006 | View Comments

David BazanDavid Bazan will forever be affectionately known as Pedro. Having a style of writing that landed him #85 of Paste Magazine's Top 100 Living Songwriters. His first solo EP, aptly named Fewer Moving Parts, was more of a hold-over until he had time to write and record. Bazan faces his critics saying, "I still run the show," in Fewer Broken Pieces, an artist that is known to hold questions-and-answers in the middle of his shows. The 10 song album provided both electric and acoustic versions of his songs on the same album. Bazan is currently finishing up a tour as a solo artist and with his Headphones project.

In less than a month, David Bazan will head home to continue writing for his first full-length solo release, set to hit the shelves early in 2007. Bazan is continuing his electronic project, The Headphones, with plans for a 2007 release. The Headphones (Suicide Squeeze) is a "no guitar allowed" setup that dons Bazan on the keys. about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
