Damien Rice lithograph

Puddlegum is giving away a rare Damien Rice lithograph. Listen to the album and then simply email contact@puddlegum.net (or use the Puddlegum Contact Form) and we'll add you to the contest. On November 30 we'll randomly select a winner. The lithograph features the album cover art, and will be a great addition to your music collection.

Damien Rice released his follow-up to O on November 14 with the long-awaited 9. The 10 track album was released on Damien's 14th Floor Records. The first single, 9 Crimes, is a stirring duet between Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan.

Damien Rice and company are two shows into their US tour, playing shows in the East and West Coast, as well as a few Midwest gigs. In between shows he will be appearing on TV and Radio, having already performed on Jay Leno's Tonight Show.

O went on to go platinum in Ireland, where Rice is from. Rice performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in December 2005, due to his political activity in a campaign to free the Burmese Leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, whom he wrote Unplayed Piano for.

    about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
