Cass McCombs: recording album for Domino Records

Domino Records has signed Cass McCombs and sent him to the studio where he is currently emersed. McCombs was signed to 4AD Records, which released PREfection and sent him opening for Modest Mouse’s US tour. Wikipedia describes his sound as “anxious dronals of the Velvet Underground to lonesome hollowed out basement folk with many turns in between.” He has traveled and lived in numerous US cities and currently resides in Pasadena, California.

He his keeping his Myspace page current as a studio journal, writing about the process. While we’re waiting, Cass McCombs is giving away Live At The Hideout, bootlegs of Cass McCombs performance in Chicago, (recorded: October 2005).

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.
