Bright Light Fever Presents… The Evening Owl

Bright Light Fever Presents... The Evening OwlFor a band that was minutes away from breaking up, receiving a call from a record label with an interest in inking a deal, your reaction may not be what you would expect. Bright Light Fever was about to end their pursuits, with Evan Ferro, vocalist, already recording with his brother's band Supermodel Suicide. The story goes that they found the answer by combining the two bands and pursuing the record deal with Stolen Transmission.

Bright Light Fever entered the studio during the winter months of 2005 at The Hanger Studios in Sacramento, with Joby Ford (The Bronx) producing, and Robert Cheek (Rx Bandits, An Angle) engineering. Bright Light Fever Presents… The Evening Owl is set to be released on October 24.

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
