Ben Gibbard to tour with David Bazan and Johnathan Rice

Ben Gibbard Ben Gibbard from the Death Cab for Cutie fame will be hitting a 16-gig tour this May, taking him throughout the continental US. To top it off, David Bazan (Pedro the Lion) and Johnathan Rice will be opening for Gibbard.

Members of the Death Cab for Cutie Union fan club will have first dibs on pre-sale tickets. The tickets will be going on sale on February 26 at 3pm for Union members only, except the New York City and Los Angelas shows, which go on sale the following day. Pre-sale tickets for the public will go on sale the first weekend of March. To take advantage of the fan club pre-sale tickets, join by visiting this link: www.dcfcunion.com.

No word on the development on the much rumored Postal Service that is supposedly in the works. On the other hand, Jimmy Tamborello of Postal Service is releasing a Dntel album called Dumb Luck. Sub Pop will be releasing it at the end of April.
