AM Syndicate: Liberation

AM Syndicate will be celebrating their CD release on December 20 at The Parish in their hometown of Austin, Texas. Liberation was officially released on November 13 through Novastar Records, the label’s first release, and was produced by Erik Wofford (Explosions In The Sky, Voxtrot).

Their music video for To The Peasants of the Emperor is an entertaining “yarnmation,” and was featured on YouTube, drawing over 295,000 views.

AM Syndicate was formed in 2004 when Omar Chavez was joined by Vince Durcan and Golfball. Danny Wood was also part of the original lineup before joining …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. Their influences stretch from “Blonde Redhead, Simon and Garfunkel, Lady Tron, Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Bjork.”
