Adam Arcuragi: more to come…

Posted by Flick in Uncategorized on 10 31st, 2006 | View Comments

Adam ArcuragiGreat songwriters have a way of turning their songs into compelling stories that enable the listener to place themselves in the emotional twists. Adam Arcuragi was first a published poet and a playwright before before developing into a songwriter, so we can only expect well-seasoned songwriting to flow from his acoustical tales. This Philadelphia artist is one of a few that have shared the stage with the upcoming Benjy Ferree, and it shouldn't be long before Arcuragi shares the same level of excitement among the bloggers.

This November Adam Arcuragi will perform with Our Lady of the Highway for a short tour. He's finishing an album with Mike Kennedy from Audible to be released on High Two, home of his self-titled debut album that came out in March of 2006.

Adam Arcuragi's debut album features Eve Miller (Matt Pond PA), Mike Kennedy, and "Peter Wonsowski sprucing it up with cello, guitar, and singing saw," among other artists who added to the fray. Finished with the right polish, the album was mastered by the fabulous John Baker (Sufjan Stevens).

about us

Puddlegum began in 1997 as one of the first online music magazines. It is managed by Flick, and has gained respect from many in the recording industry.

Over the years Puddlegum has accomplished quite a few things we are proud of:
Being mentioned by Thom Yorke during a BBC Radio interview (concerning our Tens Theory), and being written about in Rolling Stone. We have also made the front page of TUAW, Digg, and VH1’s Best Week Ever, and have been featured on USA Today, and Reuters.
